Location: Hybrid / Remote possible
Type: Volunteer or Freelance (with potential for payment via secured funding)
Time Commitment: Flexible – estimated 3–5 hours/week
Initial Term: 3–6 months (reviewable)
🎯 Summary
We’re looking for someone to support the financial side of our refurbishment of English Bridge Studios — a major community heritage project in Shrewsbury. This role is focused on helping us manage funding applications, prepare budgets, and stay financially on track.
It’s flexible, adaptable, and could evolve into a paid role depending on funding success (including potential back-pay through grants).
🔧 What You’ll Help With
Support grant applications by helping prepare costings and financial attachments
Help develop and maintain a funding tracker (deadlines, status, amounts)
Assist in project budgeting (e.g., viability costs, phased spend plans)
Provide financial oversight (cashflow, income vs spend)
Ensure we meet funder requirements (reporting, match funding, etc.)
Offer guidance on structuring self-funding plans (rentals, reserves, donations)
