At English Bridge Studios, we are committed to providing an inclusive and accessible environment for all visitors, artists, and event attendees. Below is an overview of the current accessibility features and arrangements at our Shrewsbury location:
Arrival and Parking

On-Site Parking: Limited parking is available directly outside the building.

Nearby Public Parking: Additional parking, including accessible spaces, is available at the nearby Abbey Foregate Car Park, approximately a 5-minute walk from the studio.

Public Transportation: The studio is accessible via local bus routes, with the nearest bus stop located within a short walking distance.
Building Access

Entrance: The side entrance is at ground level, providing step-free access into the building.
Interior Facilities

Ground Floor Hall: Our primary hall is located on the ground floor and is fully accessible for wheelchair users and individuals with mobility aids.

Studio Spaces: Various studio spaces are available on the ground floor.

Toilets: Please note that restroom facilities are located on the first floor, accessible only via stairs. Currently, there is no elevator or lift available. We acknowledge this limitation and are actively seeking solutions to improve accessibility to these facilities.

Service Animals: Service animals are welcome throughout the premises.
Future Improvements
We are committed to enhancing the accessibility of English Bridge Studios. Plans are underway to install accessible restroom facilities on the ground floor and to explore options for improved access to upper levels. We also plan a new main entrance that is accessible for all.
