Megan Ward is a Shropshire-based artist working from Studio 7 at English Bridge Studios. Specialising in portraiture and landscape commissions, Megan works in a realist style that captures both the beauty and personality of her subjects. Her paintings range from small, intimate pieces to bold, large-scale works, using vibrant colour on board and canvas to create art that is both emotive and visually striking.
A pivotal moment in Megan’s early career was exhibiting at The Mall Galleries in Trafalgar Square, London—an experience that inspired her to leave a career in finance and pursue her passion for art full-time.
In addition to her traditional oil and graphite work, Megan also creates digital illustrations of local Shropshire scenes, which she offers as art cards. She has collaborated with local businesses including Morris & Company and OH, FOR GOODNESS CAKE!, and in April 2025 exhibited at the National Wedding Show in London, showcasing bespoke bride and groom portraits.
