Got art supplies taking over a drawer, cupboard, shelf or suspiciously large corner of your studio?
The Creative Clear-Out is a chance to give good creative materials and equipment another life. Come along to sell, swap, donate, freecycle or simply have a rummage through what other artists and makers have brought along.
Expect secondhand paints, papers, brushes, frames, tools, craft materials, textiles, studio equipment and plenty of other creative odds and ends. Some things might be nearly new, some well loved, and some exactly the strange little thing you didn’t know you needed.
It’s a chance to clear some space, pick up affordable materials for your next project and keep perfectly useful creative supplies in circulation.
Want to sell?
If you’d like to have your own stall, please get in touch with us in advance at info@englishbridgestudios.org with a rough idea of what you’d like to bring.
Stallholders can set up from 9am, ready for doors opening at 10am. Anything unsold should be taken home afterwards unless you’ve arranged to donate it to EBS.
Want to donate to EBS?
If you have good-quality art materials or equipment you no longer need, you can donate them to our EBS fundraising stall. We’ll sell them on the day, with the proceeds helping towards repairs and improvements to our building.
Please contact us before bringing donations in, particularly if you have larger items or a lot to give. We’ll arrange a suitable drop-off time before the event so we can sort and prepare everything.
Just have a few bits to swap or give away?
Small amounts of usable materials can be brought along on the day for swapping or freecycling. If you’re bringing anything bulky or more than a small bag or box, please contact us first.
And if you’ve got absolutely nothing to clear out, you’re still very welcome to come along, have a browse and see what treasures turn up.
