Join Harriet for a relaxed and creative jewellery making workshop at English Bridge Studios, where you can design and make your own beaded or charm necklace.

Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced crafter, you will receive plenty of guidance while having the freedom to create something that feels completely your own. All tools and materials are included, so you can simply arrive, get creative and enjoy the experience.

The workshop begins at 6.30pm and lasts for up to two hours, depending on the detail of your piece. Please arrive at 6.15pm so everyone is ready for a prompt start.

Choose Your Necklace

You will choose one of the following options to make during the workshop.

Beaded Necklace

Explore an extensive bead bar featuring handmade Murano glass beads, rescued vintage pearls, gold plated charms and one of a kind finds. Mix and match your favourites to create a necklace that is completely personal to you.

Charm Necklace

Choose your favourite chain and select from a wide range of charms. You will also have the opportunity to learn how to make your own bead charms to add to your design.

Take some time to slow down and enjoy a relaxed, feel good evening in a calm and creative setting.

Working within a small group, you will learn new jewellery making skills and discover more about the Easthope glass making process. You will work with a carefully selected mix of vintage, handmade and rescued materials, with clear instructions and friendly guidance throughout.

The session is designed to be beginner friendly, with as much support or independence as you need. You will leave with a finished piece of jewellery that you have designed and made yourself.

Please note that materials may vary. Harriet keeps stock limited so that the selection is always changing and each finished piece feels unique. The photographs show examples of what you could create, but the available beads and charms may differ on the day.

What to Bring

Please bring reading glasses if you normally use them, as some of the work can be quite fiddly.

We also recommend bringing an extra layer or warm jumper, as the building can occasionally feel a little chilly.

Most importantly, bring your creativity and a willingness to try something new.
