A relaxed evening of sketchbooks, creative ideas and the beautifully unfinished.

Share Your Sketchbook is returning to Arts Cafe at English Bridge Studios, this time with more of a focus on actually spending time working in our sketchbooks together.

Bring along a sketchbook, journal, notebook or workbook, along with any materials you would like to use, and settle in for a relaxed evening of drawing, painting, writing, collage, experimenting or simply picking up an idea you have been meaning to return to.

There will still be plenty of opportunity to share your sketchbook, look through other people’s pages and chat about creative processes, but there is no pressure to show your work or speak in front of the group. You are equally welcome to find a spot, work quietly and enjoy making alongside other creative people.

Whether your sketchbook is beautifully full, completely blank or has been gathering dust on a shelf, bring it along. This is not about producing finished work or creating perfect pages. It is simply a chance to make time for your creativity in friendly company, with tea and cake nearby.

Parking and access

There is limited parking available at English Bridge Studios. We recommend using Abbey Foregate car park where possible, which is nearby and convenient for evening events.

If you need parking directly outside the building, or have any access needs, please contact us in advance and we’ll advise on what may be possible.
